The former NFL player is reinventing athlete-driven giving, offering fans the chance to win epic experiences all while supporting great causes.
When former NFL tight end Kyle Rudolph founded Alltroo in 2021, he wasn’t just looking to make an impact off the field — he was setting out to reimagine what athlete-driven philanthropy could look like. Launched just as he joined the New York Giants coming out of the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Rudolph’s vision was simple but powerful: connect fans with once-in-a-lifetime experiences, while fueling real impact for nonprofits through a fresh, interactive approach to fundraising.
“We saw an opportunity to really engage with athletes, musicians, entertainers, to create once-in-a-lifetime fan experiences,” Rudolph says. “And that way, you’re kind of engaging your entire fanbase.”
Rudolph and Co. put together these events called “fan rallies,” where participants can donate to a charity for a chance to win exclusive prizes and experiences. In addition to a recently announced rally with Raiders star Maxx Crosby, Alltroo rallies feature the likes of Pete Davidson, Cam Jordan, the Jonas Brothers, Mike Tyson, and more, spanning both the sports and entertainment sectors.
This fall, Alltroo is teaming up with the Minnesota Vikings Foundation for one of its most ambitious rallies yet: sending fans to cheer on the Vikings as they take on the Steelers in Dublin. One lucky donor will win an all-expenses-paid trip — airfare, hotel, game tickets included — with just a small donation standing between them and the experience of a lifetime.
“It’s so simple. You can make as little as a $10 donation … and who knows? You can be in Dublin cheering on the Vikings,” Rudolph said.
For Rudolph, Alltroo isn’t just about raising money; it’s about building community, amplifying causes, and proving that giving back can be just as thrilling as game day.
