Fight fans can now compete for a chance to win floor seats and special behind-the-scenes experiences at upcoming UFC pay-per-views as the guest of Jon Anik, the voice of the UFC himself.
Jon Anik, the UFC commentator and lead play-by-play voice on ESPN, ESPN+, and pay-per-view, is teaming up with Modelo to bring fight fans a true insider experience.
By entering free contests on sports betting platform DraftKings, fans will compete for a shot at two $10,000 cash prizes and a shot to win the “gold standard of fan experiences,” including floor seats and travel to 10 of the year’s biggest pay-per-view events in Las Vegas and around the country throughout the year.
The contest opened on Feb. 1 and runs through April 9. The grand prize winner will also get to meet Anik at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas for a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to be an MMA commentator.
“I can’t really come up with any appropriate comparison in terms of an opportunity for a sports fan in another mainstream sport like this,” Anik said in an interview with Boardroom. “This is the greatest giveaway in UFC history whether I’m a part of it or not. For me, these pay-per-views are Super Bowls, so the fact that the fans will literally be on the floor for 10 of these and meet celebrities, UFC personalities, and fighters, it almost makes me want to give my two weeks notice and apply for this as a fan.”
Meeting Anik is only part of the prize. Winners will also:
- Receive a pair of gold ticket floor seats
- Be guests of Anik’s during fight week, during which they can take part in his pre-fight announcer rituals, receive exclusive, behind-the-scene access to pre-fight weigh-ins
- Participate in meet-and-greets
- Receive a special walkout announcement video from Anik
And Modelo and the UFC have said there will be more announcements in months to come.

The UFC is just one of Modelo’s multiple sports partnerships. The beer company is also connected to the Chicago White Sox, the Golden State Warriors, and the College Football Playoff.
The exact dates as to which PPV events the winner will be attending are subject to change due to pending UFC schedules. Contestants must also be 21 years or older to enter. “This is going to be the greatest year of your life as a sports fan, of that I can assure you,” Anik exclaimed. “The fans are the lifeblood of the sport and our live event experience is really unique to the UFC. Humbly, I don’t think anybody does the in-arena live event quite like we do. And so for a fan to be able to realize this package and essentially devote a year of their recreational life to the UFC and these big championship fights, this is the ultimate package.”
