The NBA released a statement confirming that they have denied the Golden State swingman’s request to forgo the COVID-19 vaccination on the grounds of religious exemption. Wiggins will be unable to play in the team’s home games due to local ordinances if he refuses the vaccine, which is required for all individuals over the age of 12 to participate in indoor events in San Francisco.
