Seattle Mariners to Host First Playoff Game in 21 Years

Get ready Seattle, the Mariners are bringing the MLB postseason back to the Emerald City for the first time in over two decades. All it took was a historic comeback win in Game 2 of the AL Wild Card series. The Mariners secured the W after storming back from a seven-run deficit to stun the Blue Jays in a 10-9 victory. The comeback was the second largest in playoff history, the largest for a team on the road, and the largest in a series-clinching game. It also means the Mariners will now have a place in the AL Division Series against the Houston Astros and will host Game 3, if necessary Game 4, at T-Mobile Park.

Texas Beats Oklahoma in Red River Blowout

49-0. The Texas Longhorns ruled the Red River Showdown on Saturday, shutting out Oklahoma thanks to a stellar game from QB Quinn Ewers, who threw for a career-high 289 yards, and four touchdowns. The final score resulted in history being made on both sides of the ball. Not only did the blowout mark Texas’ biggest margin of victory in the 118-game series, but it was the Sooners’ largest shutout loss in history.

The report references data from DappRadar and showed Decentraland had only 38 active users in a 24-hour period. The Sandbox, meanwhile, boasted 522 active users at that same time. The same report showed the largest number of daily users for Decentraland was 675, while The Sandbox saw 4,503.

Instagram Restricts Kanye West After Controversial Post

Ye may be off Instagram for a while. The at-times eccentric rapper had his account restricted over the weekend for violating the company’s rules and policies. A Meta spokesperson confirmed Instagram not only deleted content but also placed a restriction on the account. The move comes not long after Ye shared a post with what many considered to be “anti-Jewish” content. Shortly after the restriction was imposed, Ye made a return to Twitter following a nearly two-year hiatus by tweeting at Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, “How you gone kick me off instagram.”
