The Boilermakers staged their second major upset of a top-10 team on Saturday, as they beat the Spartans on Saturday, 29-40. Purdue QB Aidan O’Connell put up a remarkable 536 yards in the air to lead his team in the win. 

Dončić Hits Last Second Three to Clinch Mavs Win

Celtics fans will be scratching their heads for days to come. Boston was on the verge of completing a 19-point comeback when Marcus Smart levied an intentional foul in the final seconds of Saturday’s matchup against Dallas. The call set up Luka Dončić with the opportunity to pull up for a last-second three-pointer to put Dallas over Boston, 107-104. In a postgame press conference, the Celtics’ first-year coach Ime Udoka took responsibility for the miscall, citing a miscommunication with his team. With the loss, Boston sunk to 4-6 on the season. 

Tennessee Shocks No. 18 Kentucky, 45-42 

The Volunteers showed up in Lexington on Saturday as they put together a solid performance to beat Kentucky, 45-42. Both teams’ quarterbacks threw for over 300 yards in the shootout, but Tennessee senior cornerback Alontae Taylor secured a crucial pick-six in the third quarter to help secure the victory.

Man U Suffers Crippling Loss to Man City, 2-0

After last week’s win against Tottenham, Manchester United fans were starting to regain hope that their club was on the up and up. Unfortunately, they took a step backwards on Saturday, losing to Manchester City 2-0 in a demoralizing fashion. One of Man City’s goals was scored off of Man U’s Eric Bailly in the seventh minute, exemplifying the tenor of the day.
