Liverpool Chairman Tom Werner announced on Wednesday that LeBron James was working with Nike to create a limited line of products connecting the NBA legend and the British soccer club. James has been a minority owner of Liverpool since 2011 and joined Werner’s Fenway Sports Group as partners in 2021.
St. Louis, NFL Reach Settlement in Rams Relocation Case
The NFL and Rams owner Stan Kroenke will pay St. Louis a combined $790 million. The decision comes after a four-and-a-half-year mediation following the team’s departure in 2017 and is substantially lower than the $1 billion payout that was expected when the case went to trial in January. The final agreement did not guarantee the city an expansion team in the future.
