Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are walking into what is expected to be their final World Cup appearances. As the two superstars prepare to don their country’s colors for the last time on the global stage, they each have optimized the moment to launch various new campaigns. On the eve of the event’s kickoff, luxury label Lous Vuitton has tapped the two for its most recent campaign. In the capture, the two are playing a game of chess, using a classic LV printed case as a game board. It is captioned “Victory is a state of mind.” Legendary photographer Annie Liebowitz shot the ad. Thus far, the post has garnered over 50 million likes across each footballer’s Instagram accounts.

Skittles Reminds Harry Styles Fans Not to Throw the Sweet Treat with Full-page Ad

Skittles is asking fans to taste the rainbow, not toss the rainbow. The classic candy company has released several messages to this effect since fans threw Skittles at Harry Styles during a recent Los Angeles performance. In the immediate aftermath, Skittle released a statement that said, “Didn’t think I needed to say this: Please don’t throw Skittles.” They took it a step further in advance of his weekend shows with a full-page ad in the Los Angeles Times. The spot included a visual reference to the heart-shaped glasses that Styles wears during his performance of “Watermelon Sugar.”

The South Carolina Gamecocks are here to make a statement. The football team shocked the nation, routing Tennessee 63-38 in a wild day in Greenville.
