Roger Federer Donates $500K To Ukrainian Refugees

The Swiss tennis sensation is set to miss the Miami Open, but he stays busy off the court. Federer was called to action by the devastating footage coming out of Ukraine and donated $500,000 to efforts that are supporting the 3 million people who have fled the country during the war. He earmarked the money for causes that will sponsor the education of these children. The news emerged on the same day that director Steven Spielberg and his wife, Kate Capshaw, announced a $1 million donation.

Report Indicates that Human Error Interfered with Abu Dhabi GP

The Formula 1 season kicks off today in Bahrain, and it has a lot to live up to after last year’s excitement. Max Verstappen took home the season title in a thrilling finish; however, a report by an independent outfit reveals that the event was marred by “human error.” Even with the acknowledgment, it found that the results of the race – and, therefore, the season – are still “valid.”

Tyler Herro Bags Armani Beauty Sponsorship

The Miami Heat point guard is known for his good looks on the court, but now he is teaming up with Armani Beauty as the brand’s newest ambassador. He kicked off the partnership with an Acqua di Gio ad, which doubles as an awareness campaign for access to clean water. Herro and Armani are teaming up with Unicef to bring universal access to drinking water.

Not only did it acquire CryptoPunks and Meebits last weekend, but it also minted Ape Coin with the help of some big players in the crypto world. Now it dropped an extended teaser for its next project, “Otherside.” The 1:48 video features a stacked spaceship, including a Mutant Ape, a CryptoPunk, and a World of Women NFT.

Gucci Opens New Restaurant in Seoul

The Italian fashion house has taken its talents to Seoul, where it will open its newest Osteria da Massimo Bottura location later this month. The restaurant offers a signature Italian cuisine that specializes in the classics, just like the brand itself. This marks the third location outside of Italy for the high fashion-inspired restaurant, with the other ins LA and Tokyo.
