The New York Giants desperately needed a No. 1 pass-catching option and it appears they found their go-to guy. On Tuesday, the G-Men traded a third-round pick to the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for Pro Bowl TE Darren Waller. The 30-year-old is currently on a three-year, $51 million deal — the highest-paid tight end in the NFL by average annual salary ($17M).

The brand marked its launch with the nature-inspired Expedition Bandana.

FIFA Announces Expansion for 2026 World Cup

FIFA announced that the 2026 World Cup will host 104 matches versus the traditional 64, with an expanded 48 teams taking part. The World Cup, which will be hosted collectively by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, will also revert back to four teams per division with a group increase from eight to 12. “The FIFA Council unanimously approved the proposed amendment to the FIFA World Cup 2026 competition format,” FIFA said. “The revised format mitigates the risk of collusion and ensures that all the teams play a minimum of three matches, while providing balanced rest time between competing teams.”

Pablo Torre Heads to Meadowlark

Pablo Torre is on the move. The ESPN writer/on-air personality is joining Meadowlark Media, a media content company founded by former ESPN chief John Skipper and host Dan Le Batard. “They are looking to build another show directly out of The Dan Le Batard Show, which is a monster,” Torre said in an interview, adding that he’s going to “tell original stories, do a bit of journalism and figure out how to make that show a home that can fit all of the things I aspire to do creatively.” However, Torre will remain a contributor for ESPN’s popular daytime programs Around The Horn and Pardon The Interruption.

Flo Rida Launches Own Energy Drink after $82M Battle with Celsius

Flo Rida took energy drink company Celsius to court citing a breach of contract. In the end, he walked away with an astounding $82 million in damages as the jury conceded that the company did not give the artist sufficient credit for “launching a new era for the company’s brand development, growth, and expansion.” Now, the entertainer is using what he knows about the biz to launch JettSet1. “I already know the field. Celsius is great, but at the same time, we want to take something and make it even greater, even healthier,” he said in an interview with Insider.
