The two sang their smash “Empire State of Mind” in a performance dedicated to New York City. Hell’s Kitchen took home two awards.

Charles Barkley Announces Plan to Retire After 2024-25 NBA Season

The Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks face off in Game 5 of the NBA Finals tonight. A constant topic of conversation throughout the playoffs has focused on the future of the NBA’s broadcast rights. Longtime Inside the NBA contributor Charles Barkley announced his plans to retire from his television role following the 2024-25 season. He made the announcement during a guest appearance on NBATV, saying, “But I have made the decision that, no matter what happens, next year is going to be my last year on television. And I just want to say thank you to my NBA family. You guys have been great to me. My heart is full with joy and gratitude.”

Billie Eilish Tops 100M Spotify Monthly Listeners

Billie Eilish’s third studio album Hit Me Hard and Soft continues to make waves. As the album took over the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200, Eilish achieved yet another accolade. The singer eclipsed 100M monthly Spotify listeners. She is just the third artist to achieve the feat, joining Taylor Swift and The Weeknd. Eilish also has 8 songs in the Billions Club.

‘Inside Out 2’ Takes in $155M, Top Box Office Performance of 2024

After a slow start, 2024 has its first veritable box office smash. The star-studded Inside Out 2 took in $155 million at the domestic box office and a whopping $295 million globally. The tally serves as the second-largest domestic opening for an animated film, placing it behind only 2018’s Incredibles 2 ($182.7 million).

Adidas, League One Volleyball Unveil First-of-its-Kind Partnership

League One Volleyball (LOVB) announced on Monday that it is teaming up with Adidas for a first-of-its-kind partnership. The Three Stripes will outfit LOVB’s pro and club teams with exclusive uniforms and footwear as the professional league kicks off this November. In addition, the two will work together to re-envision apparel for the sport’s “modern athletes.”
