The Spurs assistant coach, who is the first woman to ever assume head coaching responsibilities in an NBA game, is nearing a deal with the Las Vegas Aces according to Shams Charania. The deal is reported to make Hammon the highest-paid coach in the league. Current coach Bill Laimbeer is expected to take a different role in the team’s front office.

Jackie Robinson changed the game of baseball forever, and pieces of his legacy are some of the most coveted collectibles in the hobby. Heritage Auctions teased an upcoming item, which is projected to garner more than $1 million. The one-page, handwritten questionnaire is marked with a 1946 date and was part of the American Baseball Bureau‘s Bill Weiss‘ player profiles for his ongoing series of baseball guides. In his answers, Robinson forecasted precisely what he set out to do, citing his ambition in baseball was “to open doors for Negroes in organized ball.” While many questionnaires have been sold over the years, this is the first to include the Dodgers‘ icon. The item will go to auction on February 26-27.
