However, there was a bright spot on Saturday, as LeBron James moved past Kobe Bryant to be the NBA’s all-time leading scorer on Christmas Day. James claimed the record as he scored his 13th point in the second quarter, putting him at 396. He finished the day with 39 points, lifting him to 422 total Christmas Day points.
Aaron Rodgers Surpasses Brett Favre as Green Bay’s Quarterback King
The Green Bay Packers survived a last-quarter surge from Baker Mayfield and the Browns on Saturday to secure a 24-22 win and an NFC-best record on Saturday. The Spurs‘ assistant coach is in conversations with the WNBA’s New York Liberty and the Las Vegas to take over their head coaching positions according to The Athletic. The WNBA veteran, who played 16 years in the league, is being considered to fill in for the Liberty‘s Walt Hopkins who parted ways with the team earlier this month. In Las Vegas, NBA great Bill Laimbeer has served as the head coach of The Aces since 2018, it is expected thatLaimbeer would take another role in the organization if Hammon were to take over.

The Lakers‘ guard made a statement on Saturday, as he debuted his custom Kobe Vs which featured the words “Gang Gang” and a customized illustration of a Gutter Cat Gang NFT. The kicks were customized by Las Vegas-based artist, Andrew Lewis. Monk is a full Gutter set holder, meaning he owns one of each species released by the NFT collective. Monk also launched an NFT auction of the shoe, the proceeds from which will go to various charities in communities in his home state of Arkansas that were impacted by the recent tornadoes.
