The Toronto Maple Leafs again boast the highest franchise valuation in the NHL at $4.25 billion, per Sportico’s annual list released on Wednesday, with the New York Rangers in second at $3.65 billion. Rounding out the top five are the Montreal Canadiens ($3.3 billion), Boston Bruins ($3 billion), and Los Angeles Kings ($2.96 billion). The league average sits at $2.1 billion in 2025, up 108% over the last three years.

Peloton is entering its AI era with a brand new product lineup. Amazon unveiled Amazon Grocery on Wednesday, a new private label brand offering over 1,000 high-quality food items, most of which are priced under $5. Popular Amazon Fresh and Happy Belly products are consolidated into a single, value-forward grocery line available on Amazon’s website and in Amazon Fresh stores.

Kith is opening a massive flagship store in Chicago, located just off the Magnificent Mile. The two-story space offers the lifestyle brandโ€™s full range of apparel, accessories, and footwear, along with a selection of brand-new Kith Treats. Designed by founder Ronnie Fieg in collaboration with architect Ben Porto, the store launch includes exclusive drops: a Kith x ’47 capsule featuring Chicago-inspired apparel, and a special ASICS โ€œWorldโ€™s Fairโ€ footwear pack, dropping Oct. 6. An in-store-only collection inspired by Chicago landmarks will also be available on Friday, with the opening scheduled for Saturday.

According to new data from MIDiA, the global music market has grown by 5.9% in the first half of 2025 to $18.3 billion. However, the 5.9% rate is slower than both the first halves of 2023 and 2024. When the NBA officially tips off on Amazon‘s Prime Video later this month, the platform plans to debut new features to enhance the user experience. On the heels of the FTC suing Zillow and Redfin, attorneys general from the states of New York, Arizona, Connecticut, Washington, and Virginia jointly filed a lawsuit against the real estate giants on Wednesday, alleging that the companies had conspired to suppress competition in the online housing rental market. According to the suit, Zillow and Redfin account for 85% of all market revenue alongside CoStar, which owns Apartments.com.
