The NFL and YouTube are launching the UK edition of their Creator Flag Football series with a star-studded game at London’s Copper Box Arena on Oct. 11, ahead of the Jets vs. Broncos matchup. Music stars Aitch and Gunna will captain teams made up of NFL legends, YouTube creators, and athletes, including Diana Flores, Chad Johnson, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Tommy Fury. The event will stream live exclusively on YouTube, with pregame coverage hosted by Kay Adams and other special guests.

Effective Jan. 1, 2026, Spotify CEO Daniel Ek will step down and become executive chairman. Per the Tuesday announcement, he’ll be succeeded by Gustav Söderström and Alex Norström, who will serve as co-CEOs. Ek, who co-founded Spotify in 2006, will focus on long-term strategy and supporting the senior leadership team in his new role.

On Tuesday, Amazon unveiled over a dozen new products across its Kindle, Echo, Fire TV, Blink, and Ring product lines, while also showing off its upgraded AI-powered Alexa+. Highlights include new Ring doorbells and cameras with 4K/2K resolution and features like “Search Party” to help locate lost pets. Blink introduced new 2K+ cameras and a panoramic Arc, while Kindle Scribe dropped a new lineup that includes Amazon’s first color e-paper tablet. New Echo devices include the Dot Max, Studio, and smart displays Show 8 and 11. All products are available for preorder now.

Ralph Lauren confirmed plans to open The Polo Bar in London in 2028 at the former site of Vogue House, which housed Condé Nast UK for 75 years. This marks the brand’s sixth restaurant globally, joining locations in New York, Paris, Chicago, Milan, and Chengdu. 

Saquon Barkley, Justin Jefferson, and Jayden Daniels are the subjects of a new campaign from Beats to celebrate the Powerbeats Fit. The newest addition to its Powerbeats lineup, the earbuds are designed for high-performance workouts and feature a flexible wingtip design, active noise cancellation, and an IPX4 water resistance rating. The Powerbeats Fit are priced at $199.99 and available in four colors.

Versant and the WNBA have agreed to an 11-year media rights deal, with USA Network set to broadcast WNBA games starting with the 2026 season. Running through 2036, the deal includes at least 50 games annually, featuring regular-season matchups and select coverage of the Playoffs and Finals. USA Network will feature Wednesday night doubleheaders with marquee matchups, along with dedicated pre- and post-game studio shows.

Following the success of Cross on Prime Video, Aldis Hodge is joining Jake Gyllenhaal in the sequel to Road House for Amazon MGM Studios. Directed by Ilya Naishuller and written by Will Beall, the film also stars Dave Bautista and Leila George. While plot details remain under wraps, Deadline writes the sequel follows the 2024 reboot in which Gyllenhaal played an ex-UFC fighter turned bouncer in the Florida Keys. The film is produced by Gyllenhaal, Charles Roven, Alex Gartner, and Josh McLaughlin.

The NCAA announced on Tuesday that the 2028 NCAA Women’s Final Four will move to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, offering around 13,000 more seats than the current venue, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, to meet growing ticket demand. The event will also include the Division II and III championships. The NCAA added that it will maintain the current preliminary-round format for the Division I Women’s Basketball Championship through 2031.

The 2025 ATP Finals, scheduled for Nov. 9-16 in Turin, will offer a record $15.5 million in total prize money. An undefeated singles champion could earn up to $5,071,000, the highest payout in the tournament’s history. This surpasses last year’s record of $4.88 million won by Jannik Sinner and marks the biggest prize of 2025, topping the $5 million Carlos Alcaraz won at the US Open. So far, Alcaraz and Sinner are the only singles players to have qualified. In doubles, an undefeated team could earn $959,300.

Paramount Pictures has reached a major overall deal with five-time Oscar-nominated filmmaker James Mangold, known for Logan and Ford v. Ferrari, to develop, direct, and produce feature films. The first project under this new partnership is High Side, a film starring Timothée Chalamet and based on an original, unpublished short story by Jaime Oliveira. The story follows a former MotoGP racer, with Oliveira also writing the screenplay. The film will be produced by Chernin Entertainment and Mangold’s Turnpike Films.
