During a conversation with Ebro Darden at an Apple Music Live event in Los Angeles on Monday night, Gunna confirmed that a joint project with Offset is officially “in the works.” The rappers have a history of working together on tracks like “Prada Dem,” “Style Rare,” “Beat the Case,” and “Wild Wild West,” and the new record will mark their first full-length effort as a duo.

The full collection, merging the two brands’ styles, will also include exclusive playlists and events curated by Central Cee.
Mark Ronson, Greta Gerwig Reunite for Netflix ‘Narnia’ Adaptation
Following their successful collaboration on Barbie, Mark Ronson is reuniting with Greta Gerwig to score her upcoming Chronicles of Narnia adaptation for Netflix. Gerwig is writing and directing the film, which will be based on The Magician’s Nephew, a prequel to The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The cast reportedly includes Meryl Streep (Ronson’s mother-in-law), Daniel Craig, Emma Mackey, and Carey Mulligan. The movie is set to premiere in IMAX on Thanksgiving 2026 before its Netflix release at Christmas.
Cxmmunity Media Secures Six-Figure Investment from Live Nation Urban

Marshawn Lynch to Star in Amazon MGM Studios Comedy Series
Amazon MGM Studios has picked up a half-hour comedy series starring former running back Marshawn Lynch as a fictionalized version of himself who becomes a private investigator in Las Vegas. Created by Max Searle (Dave), the show follows Lynch as he partners with a tough veteran female PI to tackle unique cases. The project is executive-produced by 3 Arts Entertainment, Will Arnett, Marc Forman’s Electric Avenue, and Lynch’s Beastmode Productions team.

Fox is reviving Baywatch with a new 12-episode series set to air in the 2026-27 season. The reboot will be showrun by Matt Nix (Burn Notice, True Lies) and will feature an all-new cast. The forthcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day has officially found its villain in Marvin Jones III, who will portray Tombstone, having also voiced the character in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and its upcoming sequel Beyond the Spider-Verse. Tombstone, aka Lonnie Lincoln, is a formidable crime boss and longtime Spider-Man adversary in the comics. The film, still slated for release on July 31, 2026, will also introduce Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas in undisclosed roles, with Zendaya returning as MJ and Mark Ruffalo expected to reprise his role as The Hulk.
Willie Mays’ Legacy Lives On Through Charity Auction of Historic Memorabilia
Willie Mays’ personal collection of memorabilia is heading to auction this weekend. Artifacts like his two NL MVP awards, 1954 World Series ring, 1963 Gold Glove, and Hall of Fame induction ring will be auctioned live on Saturday, along with non-baseball items such as his custom 1977 Stutz Blackhawk car. An online-only auction featuring hundreds more collectibles will follow on Sunday. As per Mays’ wishes, all proceeds will benefit the Say Hey! Foundation, which supports underprivileged youth with education, training, and health services.
Disney Raises Streaming Prices Across Disney+, Hulu, Bundle Plans
Disney is set to raise prices on its streaming services, effective Oct. 21. The ad-supported Disney+ plan will increase by $2 to $11.99 per month, while the ad-free Disney+ Premium option will rise $3 to $18.99/month. Bundle prices are also jumping: The Disney+ and Hulu bundle will cost $12.99 (up from $10.99), while the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Select Bundle will increase to $19.99 (up from $16.99). Finally, the Premium version of that bundle – featuring ad-free Disney+ and Hulu – will jump to $29.99/month from $26.99.
