During a Tuesday appearance on The Tonight Show, Adam Sandler confirmed the Kansas City Chiefs tight end will appear in Happy Gilmore 2. “What a big, handsome guy. Funny and cool as hell. He’s a stud, and he’s so funny,” Sandler said as he confirmed the news to Jimmy Fallon. The future Hall of Famer is also tapped to star in Loose Cannons, an action comedy by Lionsgate. After a stretch that saw sales and revenue dip, Target reported a sales growth of 3% for the fiscal second quarter on Wednesday. The mark exceeded Wall Street expectations, and in turn, Target’s stock closed Wednesday roughly 11% higher than it started. Even so, the company is still preaching caution and patience, with COO Michael Fiddelke telling reporters they will continue to take a “measured approach” with its year-long outlook due to the unpredictability of consumers’ mindsets. The surge is tied, in part, to the retailer cutting prices on more than 1,500 popular items.
