Adding to the likes of LeBron James and Erling Haaland, Beats by Dre shared Tuesday that Lionel Messi has joined its roster as an official brand ambassador. In this role, the Inter Miami captain will be featured across the headphone line’s marketing campaigns and show off custom earphones, headphones, and speakers. Messi becomes Beats’ first MLS player to join the brand since it announced a deal with the league as its official audio partner earlier this year.
Usher Concert Film Coming to Theaters in September
Ahead of his worldwide Past Present Future Tour kicking off next month, AMC Theaters confirmed that a new Usher film will arrive in its theaters this fall. USHER: RENDEZVOUS IN PARIS, which captures the Grammy Award winner’s performance during Paris Fashion Week at La Seine Musicale, will premiere in cinemas worldwide for a limited run beginning Sept. 12. In addition to hearing Usher sing his chart-topping hits, viewers will also be treated to exclusive behind the scenes moments.
Washington Spirit Owner Michelle Kang Makes Massive Donation to US Rugby
The US women’s team secured the bronze in rugby sevens on Tuesday. To demonstrate her ongoing investment in women’s sports, Michelle Kang, owner of the NWSL’s Washington Spirit, made a $4 million donation to USA Rugby via Kynisca Sports International. Lululemon has recruited two of the NFL’s best receivers to help promote its newest loungewear looks. In the spot shared by the brand on YouTube, DK Metcalf and Odell Beckham Jr. are sporting looks from its Steady State, Soft Jersey, and Smooth Spacer collections. Metcalf became the first NFL player signed to Lululemon’s roster in October 2023. The loungewear collection is available to shop in-store or on Lululemon’s website.

After becoming the first San Francisco 49ers player to grace the cover of Madden NFL 25, running back Christian McCaffrey has added another honor to his gaming resume. EA Sports shared Tuesday that McCaffrey is the newest member of the 99 Club in Madden, making him also the first running back in 49ers history to earn that honor. The league’s reigning Offensive Player of the Year joins Miami Dolphins wideout Tyreek Hill as the second player to receive a 99 overall rating this week.
HBO Orders First Seth Meyers Comedy Special
A Seth Meyers comedy special is coming to HBO, the network said Tuesday. This is the comedian and Late Night host’s first HBO special, which was shot in front of a live audience at The Vic Theatre in Chicago. Written by Meyers and directed by Neal Brennan, it is set to premiere on the network this fall and will also be available to stream on Max.
