LVMH fell short of analysts’ expectations, reporting revenue of €39.8 billion ($46.8 billion) for the first half of 2025. The company cited a “disrupted geopolitical and economic environment” as a key factor in its performance. Net profit reached €5.7 billion ($6.7 billion), while profit from recurring operations dropped 15% to €9.01 billion ($10.5 billion), resulting in an operating margin of 22.6%. Chappell Roan unveiled a limited run of U.S. tour dates this fall with multiple shows in New York, Los Angeles, and Kansas City, Missouri. Vowing to keep tickets as cheap as possible, the Grammy winner is partnering with CashApp and offering an extra incentive to those who purchase using the company’s debit card. Advance registration through Fair AXS — CashApp’s bot verification system — is required to access passes, but it does not guarantee a ticket. 

New Balance and Philadelphia 76ers star Tyrese Maxey officially unveiled the Tyrese Maxey Hero Pack on Thursday, a special edition footwear collection inspired by his lifelong love of superheroes and comic book art. Featuring the New Balance Hesi Low v2 and matching 1906R lifestyle model, products drop July 31 online and at select Foot Locker locations in Philadelphia and Maxey’s hometown of Dallas.

IMAX recorded strong Q2 results, with profits rising to $91.7 million — a 3% increase from $89 million in the same period last year. Net income more than doubled year-over-year to $12 million, up from $6.9 million. The company installed 36 new systems during the quarter and, through the first half of the year, has opened 57 new locations worldwide, signaling continued global expansion.

Cartier has found its latest brand ambassador in Zoe Saldaña. Veteran music executive Jeremy Erlich announced the launch of his independent music company Alta Music Group on Thursday. A full-service firm with recorded music, music publishing, and management, he already has his first management client: Blackpink’s Jennie. Erlich previously held executive roles at Universal Music Group and its Interscope Geffen A&M subsidiary, and most recently served as Spotify’s Global Head of Music.

Live Nation Urban is capitalizing on the strength of Black creators with the establishment of the Live Nation Urban Creator Network. In collaboration with Breakr, the platform, as Forbes describes it, is a “strategy-driven vehicle designed to meet audiences where they are, geographically and culturally.” Those of all niche specialities and followings are considered, with an added promise to pay them within 48 hours of a post going live.

A new Air Bud film is coming to the big screen, Cineverse confirmed on Thursday, with a wide theatrical release scheduled for Summer 2026. The 15th film in the franchise will be written and directed by Robert Vince, the founder of Air Bud Entertainment, who has served as a producer on all of the original films, having written and directed 10 of them.
