Lewis Hamilton Named Dior’s Latest Ambassador

Dior announced Monday that Formula 1 legend Lewis Hamilton is the brand’s newest ambassador for its men’s collection. As part of the partnership, Hamilton released a full lookbook of the lifestyle capsule collection he guest-designed alongside Kim Jones, Dior’s Creative Director of Menswear. The winter-focused line merges streetwear with luxury and includes sweaters, snow jackets, and accessories like Dior-branded snowboards. The full capsule will be available in stores and online on Oct. 17.

Travis Scott is Breaking Records with European 'UTOPIA' Tour

Travis Scott’s European jaunt for the UTOPIA: Circus Maximus Tour is already off to an incredible run since its first show last month in the Netherlands. According to Hits Daily Double, Scott not only made $6 million alone for his London gig at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, he also broke the merch sales record for any event at the venue, doubling the previous mark set by the NFL. And with 1 euro/pound from every ticket sold going toward the Cactus Jack Foundation, the Europe/UK leg of Scott‘s tour has raised an additional $250,000 thus far for the community.

Google Nearing $23B Deal for Cybersecurity Startup Wiz

Google’s parent company, Alphabet Inc., is nearing an agreement to buy Wiz, a cloud cybersecurity startup, for around $23 billion, The Wall Street Journal reported. Founded in 2020, the New York-based firm identifies and removes threats for companies that rely on cloud software and was valued at $12 billion in a May funding round. If the deal is finalized, this would be Alphabet’s largest acquisition ever.

Burberry CEO Exits Company Following Drop in Sales

After sharing that retail sales fell 22% in the latest quarter, Burberry confirmed that CEO Jonathan Akeroyd would be stepping down “by mutual agreement with the Board.” As for his replacement, the British luxury fashion house named Joshua Schulman, who has previously worked for Michael Kors and Coach, as its new chief executive. The personnel change resulted in a 16% drop in Burberry shares in London at the close of trading on Monday.

LeBron James has been a minor shareholder in Canyon Bicycles since 2022, but this week, the Lakers superstar is expanding in his role with the German-based bike manufacturer as the face of its new campaign. The “Find Your Freedom” initiative encourages those to unleash their maximum potential and elevate performance atop a bicycle. “Riding a bike has always been a big part of my life. It gave me the freedom to not only get to places, but to access things that otherwise would have been out of reach,” LeBron said.
