NFL to Pay Billions to Bars, Fans in Sunday Ticket Trial

The NFL has been ruled to pay billions of dollars after a jury delivered a verdict in the Sunday Ticket trial on Thursday. Per the ruling, the league will have to pay $4.7 billion to fans and an additional $96 million to bards that paid for the streaming package. That amount could be tripled to roughly $14 billion under federal antitrust law. The NFL said it will “certainly contest the decision” through an appeal in a statement.

Bad Bunny Boasts Top Grossing Tour for Third Straight Month

For the third straight month, Bad Bunny‘s Most Wanted Tour is the top-grossing tour on Billboard’s Boxscore list, pulling in $60.4 million from 212,000 tickets sold over 14 shows in May. This feat makes the “Monaco” singer only the second musician to go three straight months at No. 1, following Beyoncé last summer. In total, the Most Wanted Tour has earned $211.4 million with 753,000 tickets sold across 49 shows.

OpenAI, TIME Strike Multi-year Deal to Improve ChatGPT

OpenAI and TIME announced a multi-year content deal on Thursday that will allow the artificial intelligence company to access current and archived articles from TIME’s database for the last 101 years. The partnership will allow TIME to access OpenAI’s software to develop new products, such as ChatGPT, for its readers. In return, OpenAI‘s use of TIME’s material will include a citation and link back to the original source.

Big East Conference Announces New Media Rights Pact with TNT Sports

The Big East Conference has entered a new six-year media rights agreement with TNT Sports, the network confirmed on Thursday. Beginning with the 2025-26 season, more than 50 men’s and at least 15 women’s regular-season basketball games will air on TNT, as well as TBS, truTV, and Max. The Big East added they’ve also agreed to a separate deal with Fox Sports and NBC Sports to broadcast college basketball games through 2031.

TikTok Unveils July Sale to Compete With Amazon's Prime Day

Days after Amazon announced its 10th annual Prime Day sale, TikTok shared plans to host its own shopping extravaganza. Beginning July 9, TikTok Shop will offer sales on thousands of products, including clothing, beauty products, books, and home goods. Brands participating in TikTok‘s Deal For You Days include L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline New York, Our Place, Too Faced, and more.

Dawn Staley Headlines Special Honorees at Upcoming ESPY Awards

ESPN revealed the honorees for some of its most prestigious awards, which will be handed out during the ESPYs on July 11. Steve Gleason will receive the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage, Dawn Staley will receive the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance, and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, will receive the Pat Tillman Award for Service.

Puka Nacua, Michael Pittman Jr. & More Rising NFL Players Join Toyota's Roster

On Thursday, Toyota welcomed four rising stars in the NFL to its roster of league partners. Joining the Toyota family are Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton, Indianapolis Colts wideout Michael Pittman Jr., New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez, and Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua. In a statement, Toyota said the four players were selected “not only for their athletic talents but for their commitment to their communities, family, culture, and NFL fans.”
