A$AP Rocky just wrapped his stint serving as co-chair of this year’s Met Gala on Monday, and now the rapper has his sights set on his next project. Speaking with Variety, the soon-to-be father of three alluded that he has a feature film planned starring him and Rihanna. While keeping details beyond that a secret, Rocky, who is set to appear alongside Denzel Washington in Spike Lee‘s upcoming Highest 2 Lowest, did say that he will “more than likely” direct the future movie.

The Walt Disney Company‘s stock jumped over 10% on Wednesday after reporting $23.6 billion in total revenue for the second quarter, a 7% year-over-year increase. Revenue in the entertainment division rose 9%, boosted by the company adding 1.4 million Disney+ subscribers in Q2 for a total of 126 million, beating Wall Street expectations. Disney also announced plans to develop a theme park in Abu Dhabi, its first in the Middle East, as it looks to combat international park revenue dropping 5%.

The Golden Globes announced a new category Wednesday to recognize something other than achievements in film and television — Best Podcast. There will be a total of six nominees for the award, with only the top 25 podcasts being eligible for the award (eligibility criteria will be announced in the coming weeks). The first winner of the category will be crowned when Nikki Glaser again hosts the 83rd Golden Globes scheduled for Jan. 11, 2026.

Ahead of Mother’s Day, DoorDash revealed its partnership with Lala and Kiyan Anthony by helping Kiyan create a custom floral arrangement for his mother inspired by a DoorDash delivery bag. The bouquet was assembled by Brooklyn-based flower shop Nelly’s Flower Shop, which DoorDash added as a new merchant. The initiative is aimed at celebrating mothers by highlighting the mental and physical load they carry.

Buzz surrounding Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter stadium tour continues to build, with Billboard reporting U.S. on-demand streams of the Grammy-winning album jumped to over 10.2 million in the three days following the start of the tour. That marks a 116% jump from the three days before the trek started, which garnered 4.7 million streams. Tracks seeing the biggest gains over that timeframe include “Ya Ya” (+147%), “Protector” (+207%), and her iteration of Dolly Parton’s classic “Jolene” (+118%).

Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin are the latest brands to collaborate with the New York Liberty, the reigning WNBA champions. Fenty Beauty imagery will be featured on the Liberty’s official pre-game warm-up jackets, as well as their shooting shirts worn for both home and away games. Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin will also capitalize on in-arena activations, with help from Ellie the Elephant, of course.

Twitch streamer Kai Cenat has launched a program for aspiring content creators, calling on his 14.2 million Instagram followers to enroll. Called Streamer University, it consists of an all-expense-paid weekend spent on a college campus where content creators will be able to come together and collaborate on new ventures. Enrollment is now open, and only about 150 applicants will be chosen.

Be prepared to budget more for a Birkin or Kelly bag in the United States, because Bernstein analysts noted Hermès costs rose an average of 4% to 5% across the board after tracking prices on the luxury house’s U.S. website in numerous departments. Hermès warned this could happen in its recent earnings report due to tariffs, despite the company recently overtaking LVMH as the most valuable luxury brand.

The Federal Reserve confirmed Wednesday that it will keep interest rates steady at a range of 4.25% to 4.5%, extending a holding pattern that began in January. “Although swings in net exports have affected the data, recent indicators suggest that economic activity has continued to expand at a solid pace,” a portion of the statement read. 

Lifestyle golf brand Eastside Golf has signed PGA Tour member Joseph Bramlett to an endorsement deal, making him Eastside’s first sponsored professional golfer. Bramlett, who says he knew he was interested in working with the company as early as 2020, will now sport Eastside Golf apparel with the signature Swingman logo on the chest during all professional competitions.
