Since they don’t make clothes for men, I knew it would have to be glasses,” K Dot said per BoF. Currently on tour alongside SZA after the duo logged its ninth consecutive week atop the Billboard Hot 100 with their “Luther” hit, Lamar’s debut eyewear campaign is expected to be unveiled later this week. 

Cooper Flag officially confirmed on Monday via Instagram that, after one season at Duke, he will enter the 2025 NBA Draft. Projected to be the No. 1 overall pick, the 18-year-old Flagg played 37 games for the Blue Devils, averaging 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.4 blocks per game as a freshman. Ryan Coogler‘s SINNERS posted $45.6 million in ticket sales at the domestic box office over the weekend, dethroning A Minecraft Movie after a two-week run on top. The thriller, set in the Mississippi Delta in 1932, follows twin brothers, played by Michael B. Jordan, who return to their hometown to open a juke joint, only to be confronted by supernatural evils.

Netflix is producing a reality show-like docuseries centered on the WWE writers’ room, where the streamer promises that “the drama is just as intense offstage as it is under the spotlight.” Dropping this summer, the 10-episode program is aptly called WWE: Unreal. In other WWE news, Cardi B is set to host WWE SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium during the first weekend of August.

The $35.3 billion merger between Capital One and Discover has been approved by U.S. banking regulators, the two sides confirmed. A Deadline exclusive reveals that Fyre Festival, the days-long music event that never was, is now being rebranded as a music streamlining platform. The initiative will be led by TrueBlue co-founder Shawn Rech, who obtained two trademarks that will allow him to launch the service. It is expected to arrive on Thanksgiving for $3.99 a month. The news comes just days after organizer Billy McFarland announced the postponement of Fyre Festival 2.

Kettle, a luxury watch seller and authenticator, is eyeing the NFL Draft as an opportunity to launch a one-of-one collectible concept. When the draft kicks off on Thursday, two players projected to be selected in the first round — Will Campbell and Tyler Warren — will wear custom-made watches with their names and signatures engraved on the underside. Kettle will then allow fans to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win the watches as a collector’s item. 

During the final day of a Star Wars celebration event held in Tokyo over the weekend, Lucasfilm revealed that a new long-form program called The Ninth Jedi is in the works. Expected to be a spin-off of earlier Star Wars: Visions shorts on Disney+, nine new episodes will drop on the streaming service on Oct. 29.
