The 2031 FIFA Women’s World Cup is set to be held in the United States — alongside several other Concacaf nation partners — after FIFA President Gianni Infantino shared Thursday that the joint bid is expected to go uncontested. Peyton Manning‘s Omaha Productions arm has agreed to a first-look deal with 20th Television, Deadline reported Thursday. As part of the agreement, Omaha will produce everything from scripted comedies to drama series to adult animation, with an emphasis on Disney Entertainment Television platforms. This is the latest expansion move by Omaha, which already boasts a similar deal with ESPN for sports-related content.

After closing its most recent funding round, women’s sports media and commerce company TOGETHXR announced Thursday that its valuation has doubled since its last raise while also reaching profitability. This latest round of funding was led by co-founder Alex Morgan‘s Trybe Ventures and includes additional backers like Susan Lyne‘s BBG Ventures, Olivia Walton‘s Ingeborg Investments, and Vansa Chatikavanij’s Present Ventures. 

Expect to see Grant Hill on TNT for the foreseeable future, because the NBA Hall of Famer just agreed to a long-term extension with the network. In his expanded role, the two-time NCAA champion will remain a lead game analyst on TNT Sports and CBS Sports’s collective telecast of the men’s championship on Monday but will also lend his talents in covering Big East and Big 12 basketball.

Reebok Basketball has announced Thursday the addition of Dallas Wings guard DiJonai Carrington to its basketball roster. Joining Angel Reese and Lexie Brown on Team Reebok, Carrington’s multi-year deal will have the WNBA’s reigning Most Improved Player also serve as a brand ambassador for performance and lifestyle gear, beginning with the Engine A basketball shoe.

Promising to respect the legacy of James Bond, Amazon MGM confirmed that production has begun on the next 007 feature in London and will offer a “fresh” take on the franchise. The announcement was made during the studio’s first-ever appearance at CinemaCon. However, there has been no word yet on who has been cast to play the famous secret agent.

Rimowa and Mykita have joined forces on a sunglasses line scheduled to drop on April 10. Pieces utilize anodized aluminum, a material that Rimowa has used to create its grooved suitcases since the 1920s, and arrives in square, aviator, and panto shape styles. Products start at $660 a pair.

Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard and Converse Basketball have agreed to a deal, making him the company’s third signature athlete behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Kelly Oubre Jr. For the remainder of the 2024-25 NBA season, Pritchard will wear the All Star BB Trilliant CX. Converse and the Celtics boast a long history together, as Larry Bird was one of the faces of the brand throughout his Hall of Fame career.
