UConn women’s basketball star Paige Bueckers intends to enter the WNBA Draft upon the conclusion of her college career this spring, she confirmed to Rebecca Lobo on Friday. Prior to that, there were rumors that Bueckers, the projected No. 1 overall pick, did not want to play for the Dallas Wings, who sit atop the draft. This led to theories that Bueckers could either return to school or play in Unrivaled for a season. Before she heads to the W, though, Bueckers remains focused on the only thing left for her to accomplish in her illustrious college career — winning a national championship, 

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are opening up a cocktail lounge in downtown Nashville called the Still G.I.N. Lounge. Available to the public on April 4, the venue is located in the same four-level historic venue that houses Nashville Live! Cocktails will feature the pair’s flagship spirit, Still G.I.N. by Dre and Snoop, while guests can expect R&B, hip-hop, and funk tunes from a rotating lineup of DJs, live performances, and playlists.

The iconic “Everyone Watches Women’s Sports” tee is getting a Nike upgrade, with Togethxr announcing a partnership and new apparel collection with the Swoosh on Friday. Pieces include tees, hoodies, and caps in two colorways: off noir (black) and sail (white). The new looks arrive just in time for another weekend of March Madness and the NWSL and are available for purchase through Nike, Togethxr, and Dick’s Sporting Goods.

The Kansas City Chiefs will be the subjects of a new TV show on ESPN, the network announced Friday. The six-part docuseries will explore the franchise’s storied history and modern-day dynasty, all told through unprecedented access to the team’s 2024 season. The show, which will also air on Disney+, will feature interviews with current-day players, coaches, and executives while highlighting the team’s 65-year history.

On the heels of the bombshell announcement that Yuki Tsunoda will replace Liam Lawson on the senior Red Bull Racing team for the rest of the season, the Japanese Formula 1 driver also unveiled his own fashion line, Venti Due. Per Hypebeast, the first drop is set to take place next week, ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix, where Ysunoda will drive alongside Max Verstappen.

After being previously repped by CAA, Chris Rock has tapped WME to exclusively represent him in all areas moving forward, including acting, directing, comedy touring, books, and more. Among Rock’s current projects include a U.S. iteration of Oscar-winning Danish drama Another Round and a Martin Luther King Jr. biopic produced by Steven Spielberg for Universal Pictures.

Deion Sanders has signed a contract extension with the University of Colorado that will keep him as head coach of the football team through 2029. According to Brian Howell of the Boulder Daily Camera, the five-year deal will pay him $54 million, making the NFL Hall of Famer one of the highest-paid coaches in the country. 

Nintendo‘s lucrative The Legend of Zelda video game franchise is getting the live-action film treatment from Sony Pictures, with the worldwide release date scheduled for March 26, 2027. Wes Ball, the filmmaker behind The Maze Runner trilogy and last summer’s blockbuster Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, is set to direct the adaptation.

Dazed has named a replacement for outgoing editor-in-chief Ib Kamara, with WWD writing Friday that Ted Stansfield will helm the editorial team once Kamara exits in June. A 10-year veteran with Dazed Media, Stansfield will publish his inaugural issue in September. Dazed also made a slew of other editorial moves in the wake of Kamara’s eventual exit, including appointing Dominique Sisley as editorial director and Serena Smith as deputy editor.

NFL insider and TV personality Peter Schrager is leaving Fox Sports and NFL Network, with numerous reports indicating his new home might be at ESPN. Should an agreement come together quickly enough, Schrager might be with the network in time for next month’s NFL Draft coverage.
