Kevin Hart is stepping into the hot seat as the subject of Netflixโ€™s next live roast. The comedian and actor will be roasted on May 10, closing out the streamerโ€™s annual Netflix is a Joke festival in Los Angeles, with Shane Gillis set to host. Other roasters have not yet been announced. Hart previously hosted Netflixโ€™s 2024 roast of Tom Brady, which drew 26 million views.

Ryan Goslingโ€˜s sci-fi adventure Project Hail Mary is off to a stellar start, earning $12 million in previews, the biggest of 2026 so far. Amazon MGMโ€™s adaptation of Andy Weirโ€™s novel is projected to open with $63โ€“65 million, potentially setting a new studio record and surpassing Creed IIIโ€™s $58 million launch. The film comes four years after Amazon acquired MGM Studios for $8 billion.

The World Baseball Classic title game set a new viewership record, with 10.78โ€ฏmillion tuning in to see Venezuela beat Team USA for its first WBC crown, the mostโ€‘watched telecast in tournament history. Dennis Rodman will reportedly be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 17 in Las Vegas during WrestleMania weekend.
