Bad Bunny and Adidas have introduced a Puerto Rico baseball cleat version of the artistโ€™s new BadBo 1.0 signature sneaker ahead of the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Worn by national team players including Kikรฉ Hernรกndez and Edwin Dรญaz, the cleats, inspired by Puerto Ricoโ€™s uniforms, are currently a player-exclusive for the national team, though a wider release is rumored for later this year.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The UFC has signed a long-term deal with bet365, replacing DraftKings as the promotionโ€™s official sports betting partner across the U.S. and Canada. The partnership integrates betting features into UFC broadcasts and events, including on-screen odds, tickers, and same-game parlays to enhance real-time fan engagement. The news comes as the UFC also enters a new broadcast era in 2026 with Paramount+ distributing major events.

Jake Gyllenhaal has been named a global brand ambassador for Bulgari, joining the luxury jewelerโ€™s roster of talent, including Dua Lipa, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and others. The announcement was shared on Instagram and comes as Gyllenhaal continues promoting his sister Maggie Gyllenhaalโ€™s film The Bride! ahead of its theatrical release.

Carolina Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon has reportedly agreed to sell a 12.5% stake in the NHL franchise at a $2.66 billion valuation, bringing in three new minority partners. The deal comes as Dundon leads a separate group purchasing the Portland Trail Blazers in a deal that would value the NBA team at $4.25 billion. Dundon bought the Hurricanes in early 2018 for $420 million. 

Heated Rivalry director Jacob Tierney is set to write, direct, and executive produce Netflixโ€™s newly ordered series Alexander, based on Annabel Lyonโ€™s novel The Golden Mean. Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan will also executive produce via Aggregate Films alongside Tierney and Brendan Brady. The drama follows the relationship between Aristotle and a young Alexander the Great, reimagining their power dynamic through an epic yet intimate lens.

Yahoo Sports is partnering with Apple TV to stream live Formula 1 practice and qualifying sessions across its platforms for the 2026 season, beginning with the Miami Grand Prix on May 1. Practice will feature Appleโ€™s main broadcast feed, while qualifying will include a multi-angle onboard feed. The collaboration supports Apple TVโ€™s debut as the exclusive U.S. F1 broadcaster and expands Yahooโ€™s growing motorsports content through its racing hub.
