Fans apparently can’t get enough of Kendrick Lamar, as the rapper continues to see instantaneous success following his performance during Super Bowl LIX. Per Spotify, streams of K-Dot’s music jumped by nearly 175% on the platform following the halftime show, with Not Like Us leading the way with a 430% increase. In addition to the Grammy Award-winning track, he performed other hits like Humble (+300%), All the Stars (+290%), and luther (+170%), where SZA — who also saw a post-performance streaming spike of 80% — joined him on stage.

Start your engines, the Formula 1 movie is almost here. Just ahead of the Super Bowl kickoff on Sunday, Warner Bros. dropped the trailer for the Apple action flick led by Brad Pitt and Damson Idris. The Joseph Kosinski-directed film will be released on June 25 at IMAX theaters, portraying Pitt as a retired racer convinced to come back as a means to mentor a rookie driver played by Idris. Aside from the A-list actors, F1 favorites Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are said to be part of the project, made in conjunction with F1.

Hyatt is aiming to become everyone’s favorite all-inclusive purveyor. The Chicago-based hospitality conglomerate announced that it will take over Playa Hotels for for $2.6 billion. The acquisition will expand Hyatt’s portfolio of all-inclusive properties in Mexico and the Caribbean. The deal is expected to close later this year.

Almost three years after the season two finale premiered, Euphoria Is finally back in production. The HBO hit show unveiled a first look at Season 3 production featuring Zendaya. The cast’s skyrocketing fame, combined with some creative differences between the show’s creator, Sam Levinson, and the network, led to an extended delay. HBO boss Casey Bloys reconfirmed in November 2024 that it would return in 2026 with an eight-episode run.

The Weeknd is back on top of Billboard charts after his recently dropped Hurry Up Tomorrow album climbed to No. 1 by earning 490,500 equivalent units, the biggest week for an R&B/hip-hop album since Travis Scott’s Utopia in 2022. It’s his fifth No. 1 album in his career, joining After HoursMy Dear MelancholyStarboy, and Beauty Behind the Madness. With The Weeknd taking the top spot, Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos officially drops to the second spot, while Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft rose into the top five following her Grammy performance.

After 27 years, Nike returned to the Super Bowl in a 90-second spot led by some of the brand’s biggest female athletes. The WNBA All-Star trio of Caitlin ClarkA’ja Wilson, and Sabrina Ionescu were joined by Olympians Jordan Chiles and Sha’Carri Richardson, the top women’s tennis player in the world Aryna Sabalenka, college superstar JuJu Watkins, and soccer standouts Alexia Putellas and Sophia Wilson in the “So Win” campaign, narrated by Grammy winner Doechii. The ad is also accompanied by the launch of a new Nike T-shirt that features a collage of all the aforementioned, as well as UConn’s Paige Bueckers.

Right before she took the stage with Kendrick Lamar at halftime of Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, SZA treated fans to four new singles added to her recent SOS Deluxe: Lana album. SZA dropped the extended version of SOS in December 2024 after it was initially released two years before, topping the Billboard 200 chart for a combined 12 nonconsecutive weeks. On Monday, SZA and Lamar added new dates to their upcoming Grand National Tour, set to kick off in Minnesota on April 19. The newly announced shows will take place in the United Kingdom, Spain, and other European stops.

Saturday Night Live is bringing out all the stars for its 50th-anniversary special set to air next week. Adam Sandler, Chevy Chase, Eddie Murphy, Kristen Wiig, and Will Ferrell lead an accomplished group of SNL alumni that will join the celebration on Feb. 16. Also set to appear are Amy Poehler, Pete Davidson, Tracy Morgan, and many, many more.
