‘Oppenheimer’ Continues its Awards Tour with 13 Oscar Nominations
Hollywood’s biggest night is set to take place on March 10. The nominations for this year’s winners were revealed early Tuesday morning. Oppenheimer logged the most nods, with 13, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Cillian Murphy), Best Supporting Actress (Emily Blunt), and Best Supporting Actor (Robert Downey, Jr.). Poor Things took the second most nominations with 11, while Killers of the Flower Moon received 10, and Barbie received 8.
Travis Scott, Ice Spice Headline Fanatics' Star-studded Super Bowl Lineup
As we inch closer to Super Bowl LVIII, Fanatics has revealed the star-studded list of performers set to take the stage at its official Super Bowl party. Travis Scott, The Chainsmokers, Ice Spice, A$AP Ferg, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Fabolous, Ludacris, Ne-Yo, The Kid Laroi, and more have been tapped for the VIP event hosted by Fanatics founder and CEO Michael Rubin. The party is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Marquee Dayclub inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Ravens-Texans Draws Biggest NFL Audience Ever for ESPN
ESPN set a new viewership record during the NFL playoffs over the weekend. In Saturday’s game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans, the network recorded its most-watched NFL game, drawing 31.8 million viewers for the Divisional Round showdown. That number also includes the ABC simulcast. Viewership peaked at 36.2 million viewers in the third quarter, between 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. ET. Including all regular season and playoff games, ESPN has aired its five most-watched NFL games ever in the past 13 months and six of the seven highest-viewed games.
Ludacris, BET+ Team Up to Produce New Dramedy
BET+ is developing a half-hour dramedy inspired by the life of Ludacris, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The untitled program is described as Ludacris’ “experience coming up in the competitive music scene in Atlanta as DJ Chris Lova Lova, the series follows the misadventures of a sharply drawn ensemble who are willing to do anything and everything to bolster ratings at their hip hop radio station.” In addition to serving as music supervisor for the BET show, Ludacris will executive produce the series alongside his manager, Chaka Zulu.
