A record audience on ION TV tuned in to watch Clark nearly register a triple-double, averaging 724,000 viewers and peaking at 981,000, according to Nielsen. The mark was a 62% increase over any household WNBA offering on ION all of last season.
Usher & Victoria Monét to Receive ASCAP Awards
Singer-songwriters Usher and Victoria Monét will receive the Voice of the Culture Award and the Vanguard Award, respectively, from the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP). They will be honored at an ASCAP party in Los Angeles on June 27 to celebrate its top rhythm and soul music songwriters and publishers. These are just the latest accolades for Usher and Monét after both took home awards at the NAACP Image Awards in March.

Alexis Morris Signs with AND1, Becomes Brand's First Woman Ambassador
Alexis Morris has signed a deal with basketball and lifestyle brand AND1, the company announced Thursday. The former NCAA champion at LSU currently plays for the Harlem Globetrotters. After winning a title with the Tigers in 2023, Morris was drafted by the Connecticut Sun. Known for its famous “Mixtape Tour” in the 1990s, AND1 is dubbing Morris the “First Lady of AND1.”
New York Mets Partner with Range Sports in Content Deal
The New York Mets have agreed to a content deal with Range Sports, the sports division of Range Media Partners. The partnership will initially use short-form content to “focus on off-field storytelling around the team, players and the culture of Mets fans.” The Mets will also have the opportunity to collaborate with some of Range’s clients in the music and influencer space.
