Tatis Jr. Voted No. 1 Card in 2021 Topps Set

Fernando Tatis Jr. is one of the hottest names when it comes to baseball cards and it doesn’t look like that will be changing any time soon.

Each year, Topps holds a vote for which player should top the checklist for its Series 1 baseball set. Tatis Jr. overtook last year’s leading vote-getter, Mike Trout for the top spot in the 2021 series.

Another young star will be front and center as it was also announced that Juan Soto will be on the cover of the boxes and packs which will hit shelves February 10th.

Both just 22 years-old, Tatis Jr. and Soto have become two of the most coveted cards in the hobby. Since mid-December, both young stars have seen their card’s price rise by more than 90% with no sign of slowing down.

Juan Soto’s Topps Rookie PSA 10 is currently selling for more than $430 while Tatis Jr. is currently fetching more than $330, the highest mark his rookie card has ever reached.
