Many know Miguel for his R&B hits like Adorn, All I Want Is You, and Lotus Flower Bomb, but now, he is taking his talents to Web3.
Grammy-winning artist Miguel is launching his first Web3 project, and he’s doing it with purpose.
It’s called S1C and it’s under a new Web3 digital studio, T3MP0. The studio announced its launch during VeeCon 2022, where Boardroom conducted an exclusive interview with Miguel and the studio’s co-founder and CEO, Roger Chabra.
T3MP0 is a Web3 design and production studio that focuses on partnering with brands and talent in the entertainment, sports, and fashion industries. The studio’s mission is to work with its partners to build NFT-based content and experiences with community at the center of it all.
“T3MP0 was created because we just didn’t see a studio out there that we felt was serving the needs of discerning talent that wanted to really lean into the Web3 space,” Chabra said.
Miguel is T3MP0’s first global creative director and talent partner. With S1C, he’s hoping to build a life and style Web3 community by helping creators leverage blockchain technology to host in-person experiences and provide products.
For Miguel, VeeCon was the perfect event to announce his new project because he aspires to build a community behind it just as Gary Vaynerchuk has done with VeeFriends. S1C’s NFT-based platform offers memberships that grant users access to exclusive products, services, and experiences. Miguel and S1C charter members will lead the charge on the type of content shared on the project’s platform.
“It’s just about helping put teams together that help express our client’s vision and sort of walking them through the process of doing something that’s really thoughtful, really heartfelt, and authentic to them that stands apart,” Miguel told Boardroom. “That’s something that I’ve always led with is my authenticity and really wanted to be thoughtful about what I put out there and who I am and stand apart from different things. And hopefully, with the confidence of T3MP0, we can pass that DNA onto every one of our projects and give every one of our clients exactly what they’re looking for to serve their communities.”
Here’s a list of S1C’s first group of charter members, per a press release:
