The new partnership is the latest example of Bieber putting his mental health and overall wellbeing first in the years after his 2017 Purpose Tour ended prematurely.
Justin Bieber is spreading joy one city at a time on his Justice World Tour.
The 28-year-old star is also helping his tour crew and fans to navigate the path of emotional and mental wellness, partnering with BetterHelp “to provide free access to therapy” on the online mental health platform.
“The one thing I’ve learned over the years is that we all go through our ups and downs, and we all need help sometimes,” Bieber said in a statement. “Being able to offer access to free therapy to my fans and tour family is a real blessing, and I’m humbled to be able to do it.”
According to BetterHelp’s official website, fans can access up to one month of free online therapy. BetterHelp says it has committed $3 million in therapy services to the Bieber-led initiative, and the Justice World Tour crew now has free access to licensed BetterHelp therapists for the next 18 months.

Bieber kicked off his Justice World Tour in San Diego on Feb. 18. Prior to the first date, it was revealed that the 90-plus-date global run would boast “Justice in Action” — a social justice initiative raising awareness around criminal justice, climate action, voter registration, and more.
Bieber has taken time out of every 24-song performance to share with the crowd why he named his sixth studio album Justice and the essential message he aims to convey on the supporting tour:
It’s worth noting that Ariana Grande gave away up to $5 million in free online therapy in partnership with BetterHelp on World Mental Health Day last October. Grande, like Bieber, is on the management roster of SB Projects, which announced last week its Children of Heroes Scholarship through the First Responders Children’s Foundation.
Bieber’s new BetterHelp commitment comes nearly five years after he canceled the remainder of his Purpose World Tour in order to prioritize his well-being. “Me taking time right now is me saying I want to be SUSTAINABLE,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.
Come January 2020, Bieber gave Beliebers intimate insight into his self-help journey with the 10-part YouTube documentary series Justin Bieber: Seasons. The series produced by Bieber Time Films, Scooter Braun’s SB Films, and Michael D. Ratner’s OBB Pictures examined Bieber’s anxiety, past drug abuse, battle with Lyme disease, marriage to Hailey Baldwin Bieber, renewed faith, and process of making his 2020 comeback R&B-rooted album Changes.
Changes dropped on Valentine’s Day 2020, and a subsequent tour was announced. That tour was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and eventually rebranded into the Justice World Tour once Justice arrived in March 2021.
Justice earned Bieber eight nominations at Sunday’s 64th Grammys, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.
