Legendary actors and longtime friends Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are the stars of Moncler‘s winter campaign, Warmer Together. The black-and-white shoot highlights their 50-year bond, showcasing them in luxury outerwear while celebrating themes of friendship, connection, and human warmth. Shot in New York by Platon, the spot includes images and short films emphasizing respect, truth, and emotional closeness.

Nike is renaming its world headquarters in Beaverton to the Philip H. Knight Campus in honor of its co-founder and Chairman Emeritus. Announced by CEO Elliott Hill, the renaming celebrates Knight’s legacy and embodies the founder’s bold, forward-thinking spirit. The change takes effect immediately, with updated signage to be rolled out over the next year.

Barcelona’s latest special edition shirt features iconography from Ed Sheeran‘s newly released album Play, which will be worn during El Clásico against Real Madrid on Oct. 26. The collaboration, part of Barça’s ongoing partnership with Spotify, will also see the women’s team wear the shirt in their Oct. 19 match against Granada. Sheeran, a longtime footy fan, is a minority investor in Ipswich Town and previously sponsored their shirts with his tour branding.

A new two-part doc, Fire and Water: Making the Avatar Films, is coming to Disney+ on Nov. 7, exploring the creation of James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water and offering a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming Avatar: Fire and Ash. Featuring interviews with Cameron, the late producer Jon Landau, and stars like Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, and Kate Winslet, the doc highlights the massive effort behind one of the highest-grossing film franchises in history.

Adam Sandler will receive the prestigious Maltin Modern Master Award at the 41st Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Feb. 5, 2026. The honor recognizes his decades-long career, with past recipients including the likes of Denzel Washington, Cate Blanchett, and Christopher Nolan. Sandler, whose films have grossed over $3 billion globally, will join critic Leonard Maltin for a live conversation reflecting on his career, which spans comedy hits like Big Daddy, Happy Gilmore, Grown Ups, and Hotel Transylvania.

Alexis Ohanian is expanding his presence in women’s sports by leading the ownership group of a new pro volleyball team, LOVB Los Angeles. The move made through his firm, Seven Seven Six, adds to Ohanian’s local investments in Angel City FC and LA Golf Club. Founded in 2020, League One Volleyball combines youth and pro play, has secured major media and sponsorship deals like SKIMS, and has raised over $160 million from high-profile investors, including Lindsey Vonn, Candace Parker, and Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman’s Boardroom Sports Holdings.

Mark Wahlberg is producing a documentary tracing Fugees member Pras Michél’s journey from Yale-educated musician to convicted player in the global 1MDB scandal. Created under Wahlberg’s Unrealistic Ideas banner, the film will explore Michél’s legacy as the artist behind “Ghetto Supastar,” while diving into the personal and legal turmoil that led to his 2023 conviction on 10 federal counts. The doc will also feature personal footage Michél captured himself.

Off Season, the sports fashion brand co-founded by Kristin Juszczyk and Emma Grede, has announced its first collab with the NBA, launching team puffers on Oct. 21. The featured teams include the Bulls, Celtics, Knicks, Lakers, and Warriors. Priced between $285 and $375, the pieces feature custom jacquard fabrics, silicone patches, and “Welcome to the team” embroidery. The collection will be available online at the NBA Store and select team retailers, as well as the Off Season and Fanatics websites.

Love Jones alums Nia Long and Larenz Tate are reuniting for a new untitled romantic drama at Netflix, directed by Sylvie’s Love filmmaker Eugene Ashe. Inspired by Maxwell’s acclaimed debut album Urban Hang Suite, the plot remains under wraps, though Ashe co-wrote the script with This Is Us writer Kay Oyegun. The project will be produced by Macro Film Studios, with Long, Tate, and Maxwell among the executive producers. 

Jim Carrey is in talks to star in a live-action Jetsons movie at Warner Bros., with Jurassic World Dominion director Colin Trevorrow also in negotiations to lead the production. Trevorrow and Joe Epstein are expected to co-write the script, though plot details remain under wraps. This marks a new attempt to bring the classic animated series – originally airing in 1962 and revived in later decades – back to the big screen, following the last feature, 1990’s Jetsons: The Movie.
