Swiss athletic brand On has entered a multi-year partnership with Afrobeats star Burna Boy, aiming to merge sport, culture, and creativity. As “Clubhouse President,” Burna Boy will help launch new products and experiences, starting with a focus on tennis. He joins a high-profile ambassador lineup that includes Roger Federer, FKA Twigs, and Zendaya.

Julia Koch and other members of the Koch family are purchasing a 10% stake in the New York Giants at a valuation that could surpass $10 billion, Bloomberg reports, pending approval from NFL owners in October. This would mark the highest valuation for a North American sports franchise. Julia, the widow of David Koch, has a net worth of $81.2 billion and has recently acquired a 15% stake in BSE Global, the owner of the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty.

Justin Bieber announced Thursday that Swag II — the sequel to his July album Swag — will drop at midnight on Friday, Sept. 5. The news came via Instagram, where Bieber shared teaser images of billboards promoting the project. The original Swag featured high-profile collaborations with artists like 2 Chainz, Gunna, and Sexyy Red.

On Thursday, Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment and Unified Events revealed A Racquet at The Rock, a star-studded tennis event set for Dec. 7, 2025, at the Prudential Center, marking the venue’s first-ever tennis event. The evening will feature two best-of-three-set matches: Amanda Anisimova vs. Emma Raducanu, and Carlos Alcaraz vs. Frances Tiafoe. Tickets go on presale Sept. 8 and open to the public on Sept. 10.

Dior has named Oscar-winning actress Mikey Madison as its first brand ambassador under new creative director Jonathan Anderson. Nike has officially unveiled LeBron James’ 23rd signature shoe, the LeBron XXIII, after weeks of teasers from the NBA star. The sneaker will debut in the gold “Uncharted” colorway on Sept. 25 in China during his “Forever King” tour, with a global release set for Oct. 3. The “Uncharted” edition honors James becoming the first NBA player to surpass 40,000 career points. Additional colorways, including “Miami Twice” and “The Chosen One and the One Who Chose,” will follow, along with a Forever King apparel collection celebrating his storied basketball journey.

ABC got another original Scrubs cast member to join the reboot series, with John C. McGinley set to reprise his role as Dr. Perry Cox. He will be joining Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, and Judy Reyes as Scrubs OGs returning for the new iteration, which was first reported in the works in December 2024.
