Tom Brady is expanding his empire by launching GOAT Gummies, a new line of organic and vegan gummies through his partnership with Gopuff. The snack, available exclusively on Gopuff for $4.99 per pack, will come in three flavors — Sweet Rush, Sour Burst, and Tropic Fusion. Brady joins a gummy market that was valued at nearly $24 billion in 2023 and is expected to grow at an annual rate of 11.8% through 2030. Other big names in the industry include Shaquille O’Neal, Maria Sharapova, and Kourtney Kardashian.

Will Ferrell is turning his Netflix comedy Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga into a Broadway musical. Co-written by Ferrell and Harper Steele, the duo will reunite for this production alongside Anthony King, who penned the book for the Beetlejuice musical. The 2020 film starred Ferrell and Rachel McAdams as aspiring Icelandic musicians Lars Erickssong and Sigrit Ericksdottir, who are given the chance to represent their country at the world’s most famous music competition.

Just months after his song “Not Like Us” set a new mark by spending 22 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, Kendrick Lamar has officially broken his own record this week: “Luther,” which features touring partner SZA, has now topped the same chart for 23 weeks. To SZA’s credit, her smash hit “Kill Bill” sits just behind Lamar for most weeks spent in the top spot at 21.

ESPN’s highest-paid talent ever is adding more to his already stacked obligations. SiriusXM announced Wednesday that Stephen A. Smith has signed on to produce and appear on two new programs. The first is a daily sports talk show that will appear on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio, while the second will be a weekly show featuring current events, pop culture, and social commentary. Both programs will premiere in September.

Stephen Curry’s house-of-brands collective Thirty Ink told CNBC Sport that its profits totaled $174 million in 2024, the bulk of it coming from its lifelong partnership with Under Armour, where Curry serves as president of Curry Brand. In addition to Good Shot, the basketball-centered documentary that Curry serves as a producer on under his Unanimous Media firm, Thirty Ink also owns Gentleman’s Cut bourbon and Underrated Golf and Basketball. 

AMC Networks and Runway have reached an agreement in which the cable network will generate marketing images and pre-visualize projects before entering production using tech from the AI firm. The benefits of using this advancement would help showrunners determine what works and what doesn’t on the air without factoring in the pricey expense of shooting the material or developing it from scratch, essentially creating a low-cost trial-and-error system.

Oscar-winning actress Octavia Spencer is reprising her role of Ma in a sequel to the popular 2019 film, with Blumhouse Productions behind the project. A director or release date has not yet been revealed — no word on whether the original stars will join Spencer in the follow-up.

LSU five-star wide receiver commit Tristen Keys is the latest to join Adidas’ NIL roster, the company announced Wednesday, joining fellow top high school receiver recruits Chris Henry Jr. and Kayden Dixon-Wyatt on the Three Stripes roster. The company is betting on Keys, who has an annual NIL valuation of $536,000, following the footsteps of fellow Adidas athletes Amon-Ra St. Brown, Garrett Wilson, and Rome Odunze to the NFL.

Last month’s 2025 American Music Awards drew its largest audience since 2019, picking up more than 10 million unique viewers across its CBS broadcast and encores on MTV, CMT, and BET. Online, it generated 9.2 billion potential impressions with the AMA social accounts attracting over 160 million video views across Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook.

Private-sector companies added just 37,000 jobs in May, way lower than the 60,000 accounted for in April and the lowest monthly job total from the ADP count since March 2023. The hiring slowdown was primarily driven by the goods sector, which lost 2,000 jobs. Meanwhile, regarding wages, annual pay rose by 4.5% for individuals remaining in the same positions and by 7% for those changing jobs.
