Boardroom is a sports, media and entertainment brand co-founded by Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman and focused on the intersection of sports and entertainment. Boardroom’s flagship media arm features premium video/audio, editorial, daily and weekly newsletters, showcasing how athletes, executives, musicians and creators are moving the business world forward. Boardroom’s ecosystem encompasses B2B events and experiences (such as its renowned NBA and WNBA All-Star events) as well as ticketed conferences such as Game Plan in partnership with CNBC. Our advisory arm serves to consult and connect athletes, brands and executives with our broader network and initiatives.

Recent film and TV projects also under the Boardroom umbrella include the Academy Award-winning Two Distant Strangers (Netflix), the critically acclaimed scripted series SWAGGER (Apple TV+) and Emmy-nominated documentary NYC Point Gods (Showtime).

Brooklyn Aces (MLP)

Introducing the Brooklyn Aces, the pride of BK and New York City as the borough’s very own Major League Pickleball Team. Co-owned by Rich Kleiman, basketball legend Kevin Durant, Grammy-winning artist Drake, actor and entrepreneur Michael B. Jordan, and a stellar lineup of other owners, the Aces compete in MLP’s Premier League. As part of the most thrilling and fiercely competitive team-based pickleball league in the United States, the Brooklyn Aces are set to take the sport to exhilarating new heights and foster an exciting community in its hometown.

Philadelphia Union

Philadelphia Union is an innovative professional soccer club competing in Major League Soccer (MLS) and one of Philadelphia’s five major league sports teams. Driven by unprecedented fan support, MLS awarded the Philadelphia expansion franchise rights to Jay Sugarman in 2008 and the Union kicked off its inaugural season in 2010. The club has reached the finals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in 2014, 2015 and 2018, and has appeared in the MLS Cup Playoffs in 2011, 2016, 2018 and 2019 and the MLS Cup Final in 2022. In 2020, the Union were awarded the club’s first Supporters’ Shield after finishing with the best regular season record in MLS.

Gotham FC

Based in New Jersey, Gotham FC plays its National Women’s Soccer League home matches at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ. The Club has been part of the NWSL since its inception in 2012 (as Sky Blue FC). Most recently, the Club won its first NWSL playoff match since 2013 during the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup. In April of 2021 Sky Blue FC made a dramatic shift with a new brand identity becoming NJ/NY Gotham FC. The name, logo and colors were selected after extensive fan involvement and will guide the club into the future with bold international ambitions.

Premier Lacrosse League

Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) is an American professional field lacrosse league which debuted on June 1, 2019 and was founded by the American professional lacrosse player Paul Rabil and his brother Mike Rabil. The PLL features eight teams, each with a 26-player roster and will be tying teams to cities starting in its 2024 season but will continue touring 12 different “major market cities”. The season includes 14 weeks, comprising 10 regular-season weekends, 1 all-star weekend, and 3 playoff weekends, running from June 1 through September 21.

Athletes Unlimited (AU)

AU believes the traditional model of pro sports is not built to bring out the best in athletes, or to deliver the most to its fans. So they developed an all-new model for pro athletes and sports – and for fans.AU is using an innovative player-centric model to create leagues across sports. Since launching on March 3, 2020, they have seen success in women’s professional softball, volleyball, basketball and lacrosse leagues, and have more exciting ventures on the horizon.

Each pro team built from a foundation of ambitious junior volleyball clubs located across the country. LOVB champions every stage of an athlete’s journey: nurturing youthful passion into action, celebrating fierce and unbridled professional talent, and developing coaches to lead future generations.

TMRW Sports, founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, with longtime sports executive Mike McCarley, in partnership with the PGA TOUR, is focused on building progressive approaches to sports, media and entertainment. Our first project, TGL, a tech-infused, primetime golf league, launches in early 2024.

National Cycling League

Founded in 2022, the National Cycling League (NCL) transformed professional cycling into a world-class spectator sport. Three professional criterium races will be held throughout the United States as part of the 2023 NCL Cup. The races will take place in Miami Beach, Denver, and Atlanta.
