The Alchemist has turned longevity into its own aesthetic. Dusty loops, subdued drums, genius in restraint. 2025 was another year of immaculate work. Collaborations that sounded less like albums and more like film scores for old gangster flicks. From Erykah Badu to Freddie Gibbs, Alc kept his foot on everyone’s neck. Everyone else is chasing the next trend; Alc keeps building timelessness one drum break at a time.
