Max Verstappen Tops List of Highest Paid F1 Drivers at $60M

Max Verstappen raced to his second Conductors Cup this F1 season, but it was far from his only W. The Red Bull Racing member emerged as the highest-paid Formula 1 driver, dethroning Lewis Hamilton who has held the No. 1 slot each season since 2013. Verstappen brought in $60 million in salary, race earnings, and bonuses. Hamilton came in second at $55 million. Fernando Alonso, Sergio Pérez, and Charles LeClerc rounded out the top 5 on the Forbes list.

Bad Bunny Debuts Newest Adidas Collab in New Video

Bad Bunny dropped another video for his hit album Un Verano Sin Ti, this time for the single “El Apagón.” Eagle-eyed fans noticed that it wasn’t the only thing he was dropping. Bad Bunny teased the newest shoe in his ongoing collaboration with Adidas. The simple, ivory Campus models grabbed the attention of viewers. It follows his custom iterations of the Forum Low and the Response CLs. Just last week, he laced a full crew of performers at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with his upcoming Forum Lows, which are set to drop on Dec. 10. There is no confirmed release date for the Campus models at this time.

Senate Holds Hearing in Wake of Taylor Swift Ticket Debacle

The Swifties have made their concerns heard, and their representatives are listening. The Senate Committee on Competition Policy, Antitrust, and Consumer Rights will hold a hearing on Tuesday that examines Live Nation and Ticketmaster’s practices that led to the ticket kerfuffle that left thousands of fans down and out for her upcoming Eras Tour. Senators Amy Klobuchar (MN) and Mike Lee (Utah) lead the committee and have called the assembly to assess the “lack of competition in the ticketing industry.”

BlockFi Files for Bankruptcy

The crypto fallout continues. In the wake of the FTX disaster, crypto firm BlockFi filed for bankruptcy protection. The company, had close ties to Sam Bankman-Fried’s cryptocurrency exchange. However, the company claims that the move is an effort to resume business as usual. BlockFi’s filing comes as part of its restructuring efforts and “will focus on recovering all obligations owed to BlockFi by its counterparties, including FTX and associated corporate entities,” the company reported in a press release.

Deion Sanders Confirms Colorado Offer, Future at Jackson State in Question

Could Neon Deion be on the move to the Mile High? Coach Prime confirmed that he received an offer from the University of Colorado-Boulder. The Buffs fired head coach Karl Dorrell earlier this season and is on the hunt for its new coach. Sanders confirmed that he received an offer from the school – while also getting nods from other programs – following his success at Jackson State. The NFL Hall of Famer said he is however focused on Jackson State’s upcoming appearance in the SWAC Championship and not considering any of the offers at this time.

The Juventus board resigned simultaneously on Monday in a direct response to the club’s investigation into questionable accounting. The collective move comes in the aftermath of a meeting on Monday that had “extraordinary” revelations. The board will remain vacant until a Jan. 18 meeting, during which the future of the club will be brought into question.
