Early Tuesday morning, fans of Beyoncé were treated to the first visuals from the superstar in over a year. Channeling Pamela Anderson, Bey released a music video for “Bodyguard” off her latest project, Cowboy Carter, on Instagram. Dropping on Election Day, Beyoncé encourages people to vote throughout the video while wearing three of Anderson’s most iconic looks: the black dress and knee-high boots from her character in Barb Wire, an iteration of her red bathing suit from Baywatch, with Beyoncé’s reading “Beywatch,” and her complete look from the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards, with a giant pink fuzzy hat, white corset, and sparkly leggings. Hopefully, this indicates more is to come from Queen Bey.

Bloomberg reported Tuesday that LeBron James and Maverick Carter’s SpringHill Company is in talks to merge with British film, television, and music firm Fulwell 73. The report didn’t disclose the terms of the deal but shared both parties have been in discussions for months. Should this become official, the move would allow the companies to increase their lineup of unscripted and live programming, as well as combine resources across the US and Europe. Fulwell 73 is the production company behind The Kardashians and James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke.

After over seven weeks on strike, Boeing machinists voted to approve a contract offer on Monday. Per the Associated Press, the agreement will bring a 38% wage increase for the union’s 33,000 members over the next four years in addition to ratification and productivity rewards. However, Boeing did not concede to demands of reinstating a company pension plan that stopped almost a decade ago. The striking staffers can return to work as soon as Wednesday or as late as Nov. 12.

With 27 years of professional experience, Leberichel leaves her post as Global Vice President of Communication at Givenchy for this role. Marcello Mastrogiacomo is also joining Gucci as VP of Digital Marketing and Media later this month following a stint at Armani Beauty Global.

Amazon‘s Prime Video unveiled a new AI-generated tool Monday that will recap television shows, and it promises not to reveal spoilers. Called “X-Ray Recaps,” it works by using Amazon’s generative AI platform Bedrock to bring viewers up to speed on their favorite programs, regardless of whether it’s part of a show, the entire episode, or a whole season. Available currently in beta, the Recaps are an extension of an existing feature from Prime Video that pulls up information about the show or film when paused, like cast details, production facts, songs, and statistics (if sports-related).

The 2024 New York Mets may not have won a World Series this year, but a piece of their club is still heading to the Baseball Hall of Fame. MLB confirmed Tuesday that one of the popular “OMG” signs is heading to Cooperstown. Used during dugout celebrations, the acronym, which is the title of the popular song from Mets infielder Jose Iglesias is spelled out in large acrylic letters and inscriptions from its creator, Jerome McCroy. There are two versions of the sign, and the original OMG relic will sit in the team’s Hall of Fame, located in center field at Citi Field.

Following the closing of Paramount Global’s merger with Skydance Media, Bloomberg reports that Shari Redstone, the non-executive chairwoman of Paramount Global, will leave the company’s board. Redstone and her son, Tyler, had the opportunity to join the modernized Paramount board once the acquisition was finalized but opted not to, per the outlet. Alas, up to 13 people will join the new board, a regulatory filing on Monday revealed. Skydance founder David Ellison will appoint five members, while investor RedBird Capital Partners will bring on two more. Additionally, another will be named the new President of Paramount, with three more joining as independents.

Music distribution firm UnitedMasters has extended its partnership with the NFL through the 2027 season. According to the release, the league will maintain access to UnitedMasters‘ portfolio of indie artists for use across its programming, and in turn, the group will build “a community where independent artists and football fans come together,” said Steve Stoute, Founder and CEO of UnitedMasters. “Further, we are helping the league to streamline legal compliance while giving them access to an emerging set of artists coming out of independent ecosystems,” Stoute added.
