Cristiano Ronaldo has suggested he will leave football entirely once he retires from playing, saying he wants to focus on his family and “other passions.” In an interview with Piers Morgan, the 40-year-old Al Nassr forward said he plans to retire “soon,” acknowledging it will be “very, very difficult.” Ronaldo, who began his professional career with Sporting CP 23 years ago, remains under contract with Al Nassr until June 2027 and intends to play for Portugal in next summer’s World Cup in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Spotify posted Q3 results Tuesday that showed strong growth, with Premium subscribers up 12% to 281 million and total monthly active users rising 11% to 713 million. Revenue increased 7% to €4.27 billion ($4.56 billion), while operating income jumped 43% to €582 million ($622 million). The company swung to a €899 million net profit ($961 million), compared with a €86 million loss a year earlier.

The Latin Recording Academy announced that Bad Bunny, Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso, Chuwi, Karol G, Fuerza Regida, and Marco Antonio Solís have joined the 2025 Latin Grammy Awards performance lineup. They join previously confirmed stars Rauw Alejandro, Gloria Estefan, Kacey Musgraves, and Carlos Santana. Bad Bunny leads this year’s nominations with 12, followed by Edgar Barrera and Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso with 10 each. The 26th annual Latin Grammys will air live on Nov. 13 from Las Vegas at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TelevisaUnivision platforms.

Regina King will serve as ambassador for the 30th anniversary of the American Black Film Festival (ABFF), taking place May 27-31 in Miami Beach under the theme “The Homecoming.” King will welcome attendees on opening night and lead a “Creator Conversation” reflecting on her career and ABFF’s legacy of celebrating Black storytelling. Her connection to the festival dates back to its 1997 debut, when it was known as the Acapulco Black Film Festival.

Plans for Marc Jacobs’ sale to Authentic Brands Group have fallen through, WWD reported Tuesday. The label will remain under LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton for now, where it has been since Marc Jacobs became Louis Vuitton’s creative director in 1997. However, industry insiders note that talks could resume in the future. Authentic Brands Group, which owns labels including Reebok, Quiksilver, Brooks Brothers, and Ted Baker, generates over $32 billion in annual retail sales through its global licensing model.

World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and 2022 Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios will face off in a “Battle of the Sexes” exhibition match on Dec. 28 at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. Kyrgios, limited by injuries in recent years, said he’ll get only one serve and play to a smaller side of the court but still predicted an easy win. Before Dubai, both will play separate exhibition matches in New York on Dec. 8 – Sabalenka vs. Naomi Osaka and Kyrgios vs. Tommy Paul.

Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios and chief creative officer at Marvel, has made a “transformational gift” to USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, creating the Kevin Feige Division of Film & Television. The division will fund faculty, support students, and provide training across filmmaking mediums, including traditional techniques, virtual production, and AI. A USC alum and member of the School of Cinematic Arts’ Board of Councilors, Feige previously established the Kevin Feige Endowed Fund for Creative Producing in 2017.

Job openings fell to their lowest level in over 4.5 years as October ended and the government shutdown continued, according to new data released by Indeed and obtained by CNBC. Indeed’s Job Postings Index dropped to 101.9 as of Oct. 24, down 0.5% from early October and about 3.5% since mid-August, marking the lowest reading since February 2021. With the shutdown preventing the Bureau of Labor Statistics from releasing its monthly Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) report, economists are relying on alternative data. The most recent August JOLTS report showed 7.23 million job openings, steady from July but down 7% from January.

Audacy has teamed up with two-time Super Bowl champion Von Miller for a new podcast, Free Range with Von Miller, launching Wednesday on YouTube and all podcast platforms, with new episodes every week. The show blends football analysis and cultural commentary, featuring interviews with athletes, artists, and influencers. Regular segments include “Commandments,” breaking down the latest Washington Commanders game; “Von’s Vision,” offering league-wide insights; and “Culture Corner,” spotlighting trending non-sports stories. Miller will also share behind-the-scenes looks at his chicken farm, Greener Pastures.

Universal is reviving its The Mummy franchise, with Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz in talks to return for a new sequel. The film will be directed by the Radio Silence team, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, known for Ready or Not and the recent Scream films. Original producer Sean Daniel is returning alongside William Sherak, James Vanderbilt, and Paul Neinstein of Project X Entertainment. Described as a sequel rather than a reboot, the project is expected to ignore the events of the third movie.
