Oakley announced Travis Scott as its first-ever Chief Visionary on Monday, launching a multi-year creative partnership with the rapper. Alongside his Cactus Jack team, Scott will work closely with the eyewear brand to evolve its product legacy, rework archival designs, and develop brand-new looks that merge Oakley’s iconic design with his aesthetic. To celebrate, Oakey dropped a limited amount of Day Zero merch.

After a seven-year drought, Cardi B is finally set to release her sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, on Sept. 19. Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat and Pacers Sports & Entertainment have tapped The Kid LAROI to headline the inaugural Fever Fest, the comedy and music show set for July 19 during AT&T WNBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis. Black-ish alum Deon Cole will host the festivities, which include additional music sets from G-Eazy and BIA and comedy acts from Cedric the Entertainer, Leslie Jones, and Aida Rodriguez. However, it was a disappointing showing for Elio, as its $21 million earnings made it the lowest opening for a Pixar film ever, adding just $14 million overseas for a total of $35 million.

SailGP confirmed Monday plans to expand for the 2026 season, with a goal of adding at least two new teams and investment stakes across existing national clubs. The tender is open to investors across sport, business, and entertainment, with initial bids expected to close in mid-August. The league has identified early September 2025 as the end of the selection process.

Apple TV+ has agreed to a multi-year first-look deal with Chernin Entertainment, the label behind movies such as Hidden Figures, Ford v Ferrari, The Greatest Showman, and Planet of the Apes. The news comes after Chernin successfully produced two upcoming series for Apple TV+: Chief of War, starring Jason Momoa, and the documentary The War for Football.

Dolly Parton is returning to Las Vegas, confirming her limited residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Monday. Recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Parton will play six shows from Dec. 4-13 while the National Finals Rodeo is taking place at the nearby Thomas & Mack Center. Tickets go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. PT.

Netflix has chosen Euphoria director Augustine Frizzell to direct its forthcoming Ronda Rousey biopic, Deadline reported Monday. Rousey produced the screenplay based on her two memoirs, My Fight/Your Fight and Our Fight, co-written with her sister Maria Burns Ortiz.
