ESPN is taking fans back to its origins with Sports Heaven: The Birth of ESPN, a documentary premiering April 6. A Pennsylvania lawsuit accuses FanDuel and DraftKings of using NFL data to push โ€œmicro-betting,โ€ an addictive form of in-game wagering, and employing VIP hosts to encourage high-stakes play. The plaintiffs claim they lost over $2 million combined and developed gambling disorders. The suit also names the NFL and its data partner Genius Sports, seeking damages, legal fees, and a stop to the alleged practices.
