Those headed to San Antonio for men’s March Madness festivities will be treated to a number of performances from today’s biggest artists. TNT Sports and the NCAA announced Wednesday that Jelly Roll, Pitbull, and Chris Stapleton will headline the 2025 NCAA March Madness Music Festival from April 4-6, corresponding with the men’s Final Four games. A biopic on legendary golfer Tiger Woods is in the works after Amazon MGM Studios. The project will be based on Kevin Cook’s book The Tiger Slam: The Inside Story of the Greatest Golf Ever Played, which documents when Woods won four consecutive major championships in 2000-2001. King Richard director Reinaldo Marcus Green has signed on to bring the story to the screen, which will be produced by Barack and Michelle Obama‘s production company Higher Ground.

Alex Cooper is headed to the small screen as the host of a dating series called Overboard for Love. Set to air on Hulu, this will be Cooper’s first program under Unwell Productions, a part of her Unwell Network. The show follows a group of “sexy singles” who will board a luxury yacht in hopes of finding their perfect match. However, “gaining access to the yacht’s extravagant amenities won’t be so simple” as the passengers may think, the logline reads.

Eminem is joining the group looking to bring a WNBA expansion team to Detroit, Sportico reported Wednesday. The award-winning rapper would join a city-wide effort that has been led by Tom Gores and the Detroit Pistons, as well as owners of the Red Wings, Tigers, and Lions. More than 10 cities have reportedly submitted bids for WNBA expansion.

A new report from the Consumer Price Index (CPI) revealed inflation rose 2.8% year-over-year in February, though that’s down from the 3% mark in January. The highest inflation rate of any item still belongs to eggs, which saw a 59% hike over the past year. While CPI inflation has decreased drastically since the 9.1% rate in June 2022, it still sits above the Fed’s goal of a 2% annual rate.

The music video accompanying chart-topping single “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus is the latest to join YouTube’s elite 1 billion views club. This marks the fourth Cyrus video to achieve this feat, joining “Party In the U.S.A.,” “Wrecking Ball,” and “23” with Mike WiLL Made-It, Wiz Khalifa, and Juicy J.

LVMH made more personnel moves this week, announcing the appointment of Frédéric Arnault as the new CEO of Loro Piana on Wednesday. Son of CEO Bernard Arnault, the 29-year-old will join the Italian luxury brand on March 26 for a period of transition with current CEO Damien Bertrand, who is moving over to Louis Vuitton beginning June 10. Additionally, starting April 15, Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou will assume the role of Deputy CEO of Christian Dior Couture.

In partnership with JOOPITER, Pharrell’s luxury auction house, Kid Cudi is hosting a sale of his personal belongings. “On Another Planet: The Collection of Kid Cudi” features jewelry from Cartier and Ben Baller, rare Air Jordan and Nike Dunk sneakers, Takashi Murakami’s 2020 “Black Lives Matter” prints, and more artwork. The auction will be open for global bidding from March 13 to March 25. 

Sphere Entertainment’s James Dolan told analysts that the company behind the Las Vegas Sphere is working on a design for smaller versions of the entertainment venue, according to AV Magazine. The proposed concept would hold 5,000 attendees versus the original 17,600-seat venue but still feature similar giant wrap-around screens and immersive experiences. Potential mini-Sphere locations have not yet been named. 

In addition to releasing his fourth signature basketball sneaker, the Jordan Luka 4, Luke Dončić is dropping a new lifestyle silhouette called the Luka .77 on April 8. The kicks arrive in multiple colorways including “White/Gym Red-Black,” “Bright Mango/Black,” and “University Blue/Red Orbit-White-Blue Tint.” Set those SNKRS app notifications.
