J. Cole announced Wednesday that his long-awaited album The Fall-Off will be released on Feb. 6, ending months of rumors. He revealed the date through a trailer that teases an unreleased track and shows Cole reflecting on fame while doing everyday activities like washing his car and eating alone at Waffle House. The trailer also unveiled the albumโ€™s cover art, featuring an old photo of his messy studio setup. The Fall-Off will be Coleโ€™s first album since 2021โ€™s The Off-Season, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

HBO confirmed that Euphoria Season 3 will premiere Sunday, April 12, airing weekly from 9-10 p.m. ET. The eight-episode season, created by Sam Levinson, features a time jump that moves the characters out of high school. The season brings back core cast members, including Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, and Hunter Schafer, along with several returning guest stars. Filmed in Los Angeles and supported by a $19.4 million California tax credit, Season 3 arrives four years after Season 2 and is expected to conclude the series.

Issa Rae has signed a three-year first-look film and TV production deal with Paramount, joining the studioโ€™s recent pacts with creators like the Duffer brothers and Will Smith. The deal, which begins this month, will have Rae collaborating closely with top executives across Paramount Pictures, Television Studios, and the Motion Picture Group. Rae, the creator and star of Insecure, brings her Hoorae banner, which has produced projects such as A Black Lady Sketch Show, Rap Sh!t, Sweet Life: Los Angeles, and Project Greenlight. Her past work also includes the Sony R-rated sleeper comedy One of Them Days.

Saks Global, parent firm of the 159-year-old luxury department store, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy after mounting debt became unsustainable. The company named former Neiman Marcus CEO Geoffroy van Raemdonck as its new chief executive, replacing Richard Baker after just two weeks in the role. Ahead of the filing, Saks secured $1.75 billion in new financing, including $1 billion in debtor-in-possession funding to support operations during bankruptcy and additional liquidity to aid its exit later this year. 

NikeSKIMS is debuting its first footwear release with the NikeSKIMS Rift, a reimagined version of the iconic split-toe Nike Air Rift. Originally launched in 1996 and inspired by barefoot runners in Kenya, the updated design features the signature tabi toe, a midfoot strap for secure fit, and a minimalist sole focused on natural movement. The shoe blends performance and style with a sleek, low-profile silhouette designed for effortless wear from the gym to everyday settings. The NikeSKIMS Rift Mesh launches in North America on Jan. 26 via the Nike and Skims websites and at select retailers.

Project B, a new global womenโ€™s and menโ€™s basketball league, announced Tokyo as the first official stop on its worldwide circuit, with games set for late March through early April 2027. The Tokyo tournament will run March 26-April 4 at Toyota Arena as part of the leagueโ€™s seven-city season, which features 10-day events that contribute to a season-long championship. Both the menโ€™s and womenโ€™s tournaments will feature 66 players split into six teams. The league has already revealed several star women players, including Nneka Ogwumike and Jonquel Jones, with Japanese standout Mai Yamamoto also set to compete.

Rolling Loud has revealed the lineup for its 2026 festival just a week after announcing its move from Miami to Orlando. The three-day event, set for May 8-10 at Camping World Stadium, will be headlined by Don Toliver, Playboi Carti, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again, alongside acts like Chief Keef, Destroy Lonely, and Sexyy Red. This marks Cartiโ€™s sixth time as a Rolling Loud headliner, while Don Toliver previously led the festivalโ€™s India edition. In 2026, Orlando will be Rolling Loudโ€™s only U.S. stop, with tickets on sale now.

CBS Sports and SailGP have renewed their TV rights agreement on a multi-year deal, extending CBSโ€™s coverage of the global racing circuit through 2027. Financial terms were not disclosed, but the contract includes more than 50 hours of annual coverage of the Rolex SailGP Championship. CBS has aired SailGP since its 2019 debut, and the series has seen growing viewership, highlighted by nearly 3.5 million viewers for Novemberโ€™s Race to Abu Dhabi, a sailing record. SailGP, co-founded by Larry Ellison and CEO Sir Russell Coutts, continues to expand with investor-backed teams, including celebrity owners Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

Pete Davidson is launching The Pete Davidson Show, a new video podcast featuring โ€œcandid, no-holds-barred conversations,โ€ exclusively on Netflix starting Friday, Jan. 30, with weekly episodes. The podcast will primarily be filmed in Davidsonโ€™s garage, though heโ€™ll occasionally take it on the road. This marks his fourth collaboration with Netflix, following two comedy specials (Turbo Fonzarelli and Alive from New York), and his 2022 hosting of Pete Davidson Presents: The Best Friends for Netflix Is a Joke Fest.

The 2026 College Football Hall of Fame class, announced Wednesday, includes 22 members, highlighted by eight major award winners, including 2009 Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram of Alabama. The group features 10 former first-team All-Americans, including multi-year honorees Jerry Azumah, George Cumby, James Laurinaitis, and Peter Warrick. Notably, defensive tackles Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh, who both enjoyed standout NFL careers and played together on the Rams in 2018-2019, will be inducted together. The class will be officially honored on Dec. 8 at the National Football Foundation annual awards dinner in Las Vegas.
